6th Annual Awards Ceremony
On April 30th, the Annual Ceremony was held at West High School. Many families from the community attended. Governor Bill Ritter and Denver Councilman Paul Lopez spoke to the crowd. And students, their parents, educators proudly celebrated their achievements.

The Latino Assiociation, a student group from George Washington High School hosted their 2nd Annual Fashion Show entitled "Emerald Extravaganza" to benefit the Special Education Department at George Washington H.S. The event was held on February 13th, 2009 and was hosted by Issa from 95.7 the PARTY.
